StealthEX crypto exchange recently hosted an insightful AMA session with Dave Balsher and Isaac Crispin, co-founders of CoinoSwap, a comprehensive cryptocurrency exchange aggregator, streamlining the process of comparing fees and costs across multiple cryptocurrency platforms.
Questions from Twitter
Q1: What distinguishes CoinoSwap from other cryptocurrency exchange aggregators in terms of features and user experience?
Dave: First of all we are an Instant Crypto Exchange Aggregator with NO KYC requirements except on rare occasions. Our processes to swap and buy crypto are meant to be done in 5 easy steps!!!
We also aggregate some of the Best Instant Crypto Exchanges such as StealthEX for liquidity and best pricing.
Isaac: Aside from the technical aspects. I would also add our “How?” We started CoinoSwap from the point of view of the customer. Ease of use, convenience, and a fast experience.
Q2: Given that CoinoSwap positions itself as a non-custodial exchange aggregator promising the “best rates” for crypto swaps, what specific strategies or algorithms does it employ to consistently scan and compare rates across multiple decentralized platforms, and how does it ensure these rates remain competitive in volatile market conditions?
Dave: We are directly connected to all our exchange partners API’s that provide quick and efficient pricing, and our system quickly organizes it into a simple format where the best prices a listed first.
Isaac: The Exchange partners we connect to on our site give each customer the ability to scan through multiple exchanges—then we rank those from top to bottom. The best is the top offer.
Q3: How does CoinoSwap approach community feedback, and are there channels for users to suggest improvements or report issues?
Dave: Absolutely, we value all customer’s feedback, and we have dedicated an email for such suggestions. Users are more than welcome to reach out there to send their queries.
Isaac: This is a good question. Community Feedback is the key here. We have multiple ways for customers to reach out through all of our socials, but for any feedback we’d like folks to reach out to our Public Relations email.
Q4: While CoinoSwap doesn’t mention a native token or DAO on its site, many DeFi projects evolve in this direction. Are there any plans to introduce a governance model or token incentives to reward early adopters and foster a community-driven ecosystem?
Isaac: I believe rewarding early adopters is important. Our roadmap now looks to rewarding those adopters through giveaways with our partner exchanges.
Dave: Well yes, further down our roadmap, we would love to include a CoinoSwap Token which would be a token reward system that would allow users to redeem for reduced rates on fees, prizes, NFTs, etc. Community is everything when creating a long-term project and we definitely value this.
Q5: Looking to the future, what are some of the most exciting innovations on CoinoSwap roadmap that users can look forward to? How do these tie into your long-term vision for the platform?
Dave: Our platform was built with innovation in mind, we are looking to grow our cross-chain swap services to include Crypto Loans, Staking opportunities as well as Crypto Gift Cards. However, with the growth of AI, we may look to integrate AI technology into the Swap Exchange experience.
Isaac: Looking into the future—we are mindful of the ever-changing evolving space we are in. We’d like to pride ourselves in making sure we maintain a pulse on these changes and trends. Sometimes that roadmap looks like—customer suggestions for a feature or product that we will look into. We are not afraid to pivot.
Q6: Does CoinoSwap offer a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android, or is it primarily a web-based platform? If a mobile app is available, what are its key features and advantages compared to the web version? If not, are there plans to develop a mobile app in the future?
Isaac: Following up on my roadmap response before. Right now, we are primarily web-based with a good mobile experience, but dedicated Mobile Apps for IOS and Android are in the works. We are taking our time (but not too long) to make sure the mobile experience has some differences.
Dave: The mobile app is on our roadmap and will be available in the future. As we improve our website-based model, we will be looking to tweak the mobile version for speed and improved user experience.
Q7: Providing the best trading experience is at the core of any exchange platform’s success. What recent improvements or innovations has CoinoSwap implemented to improve transaction speed, security, and user experience?
Isaac: Here’s a quote I heard somewhere: “Success loves speed”… and we are constantly trying to get better and better. A faster transaction process is the ideal goal—and we try to push that as much as possible to improve even what we currently have. Companies do that at scale… most of this is happening on the back end.
Dave: This is in fact our #1 priority at the moment as to streamline the user experience, our dev team is actively improving the way we pull rates, as well as creating shortcuts to provide popular pairs. We are currently training the system to dynamically re-arrange these pairs as users choose them so that the popular pairs are constantly updating.
Q8: What’s the long-term plan for CoinoSwap? Like, are they planning to expand beyond just being a swap aggregator, or could they integrate more DeFi features like lending, staking, or even their own liquidity pools?
Isaac: Short answer: with everything mentioned before, I can add… be here through more market cycles. Watching the trends and riding the wave.
Dave: As stated above, Crypto staking, Loans, and gift cards are some of the items we plan on integrating in the future. We are constantly looking at innovative products and will introduce them when we are ready.
Q9: Which crypto exchanges are integrated with CoinoSwap, and how are they selected for providing the best rates?
Dave: We aggregate pricing from the following:
1. StealthEX
2. ChangeHero
3. Changelly
4. Godex
5. LetsExchange
6. Exolix
7. ChangeNow
8. SimpleSwap
9. FinchPay
And we are also integrating a few more exchanges this month.
We selected these exchanges based on their reputation in the community, how long they been in the industry, Trustpilot reviews, user experience, and how well the API’s and support structures work.
We found these exchanges to be the gold standard of Instant Crypto Exchanges!
Isaac: You can imagine with hundreds (maybe even thousands) of exchanges the selection process can be daunting, but we ask ourselves this—who is a top mover in this space? That’s how we came across StealthEX. And the best rates come from a competitive marketplace.
Q10: What’s your strategy for growing the network of partnered exchanges? Are you targeting specific DeFi protocols or centralized platforms with unique liquidity pools to enhance CoinoSwap’s offerings?
Isaac: That’s just it, to grow a network of partner exchanges, we have to partner with the right exchanges that offer an entire ecosystem when you step back and look at it from what CoinoSwap has to offer.
Dave: Essentially, we targeted exchanges that provide a diverse portfolio of currencies, which provides a bigger pool of options for our users to choose from. We also choose them on the criteria stated above. Support structures of exchange from our partners are also a very important feature for us to choose them as our preferred exchange.
